Robert B. Markworth

Rob joined the firm as an associate in September 2006. He is a native of Hanover, New Hampshire who grew up in Wilmington, North Carolina. Prior to joining Weatherspoon & Voltz, Rob practiced real estate and general corporate law for 8 years in Chapel Hill and Raleigh.

Rob is admitted to practice law in the State of North Carolina.

•	J.D., University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, 1998; M.A., Economics, Indiana University, 1992; B.A., Economics, University of North Carolina at Charlotte, 1990, Cum Laude.
•	During law school: member of the UNC Banking Law Institute and Journal; published the article “Survival of the Federal Common Law D’Oench Doctrine” in the inaugural edition of the Journal; member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity.
